SPRING MIGHT BE THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR. Not only because all of a sudden you wake up and there are tiny green petals where there used to be barren branches, or because the promise of longer, sunnier days fills you up with instant energy, but also because spring feels like a good time to try something new.
Perhaps a wardrobe update, a run in the park instead of the usual studio pilates? Or just a nod to some simple tricks that might turn your health-routine upside down? We flipped through the list of remedies, most commonly used in modern ayurvedic medicine and found three small ingredients that make a big difference. Here’s our spring “must-try” list.
1. BLUE SMOOTHIES ARE THE NEW BLACK
According to Ayurveda, the Blue Butterfly Pea Tea (which, as the name suggests, yields a sky-blue liquid that tastes a lot like black tea) is one of the best natural anti-depressants, available on the market. Apart from that it has an instant calming effect and when mixed right – tastes like the best smoothie you’ve ever had.
