As you might have heard (read) me mention before, I'm a sucker for natural cosmetics and although I love it, there are other things that I've started to value more than it being »natural« (well, you know, besides the fact that they actually work for my skin). Here are my top 3 beauty products that I've been loving and using on daily basis for the last while:
First things first---deodorant. Don't even get me started on how many natural deodorants I've tried in the last few years. Firstly, because there are too many to count and secondly because it would hurt my brain (and my wallet) counting the money I lost. But---there's always a but---all of those trials and errors (and smelly pits) brought me to Black Chicken Remedies Barrier Booster deodorant and oh my gosh does it make me happy! It actually works, even for sensitive armpits like mine as it doesn't include bicarbonate soda! I have to reapply it maybe once or twice per day but the smell is lovely and not too strong so you can still wear your perfume (oil) without scents crashing.
Every woman needs a good non-tested-on-animals mascara, am I right? I mean, okay, a mascara is not of ultimate importance to a woman, so much stuff comes before it, like being happy with ourselves, our confidence, our strength, and around 133 other things but you know what I mean. I've tried quite a few natural mascaras but this is the only one that actually does the trick for me. And the best bit? If I accidentally fall asleep before I manage to remove it, I don't wake up like a panda while it lasts all day at the same time. Not sure how that's possible but I'll take it. And one other thing that can't be said for a lot of cosmetic products? It's actually reasonably priced!
Save the best for the last, right? Let me introduce you to my all-time favorite beauty brand---Leahlani Skincare. I don't even know where to start. Should I start with the amazing smell of the Siren Serum? Lush packaging? Organic ingredients? The feel on my skin? All of that it just off the charts. Their serum leaves my skin the softest as the smell immediately transports me to Tuscany with those sweet orangy scents. I'm also a huge fan of their Mahana body/hair oil that brings tropical Bali vibes right to my nowhere-near-Indonesia bathroom and Bliss Aromatherapy perfume oil that grounds me and connects me with that inner knowing of peace.
What are your favorite beauty products (natural or not)? Would love to hear from you!
